Hrant Dink
Journalists and authors, Laure Marchand and Guillaume Perrier remember the Turkish-Armenian journalist and human rights activist Hrant Dink, who was assassinated near his office at Agos newspaper in January 2007. Marchand and Perrier reflect on the implications of his murder and suggest that Dink’s assassination by a young Turkish nationalist is, in fact, a form of continuation of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and the consequence of a century of denialist policy perpetuated by the Turkish government.
